Two different housing developers have proposed to construct a combined total of 228 rental units on Lebanon’s Route 120 and outlined their plans for the Lebanon Planning Board this week. The plans include a 108 unit apartment complex with 2 levels of below ground parking, located at Etna Road and Route 120 and another development near the Element Hotel.
Housing Solutions, Lynne LaBombard, was quoted in the Valley News article about the proposed rental units and current rental market. Lynne said “The two proposals come as the Upper Valley continues to experience a tight rental market, with just a 3 percent vacancy rate…”.
“We need rentals that can affordably house our police, fire and teachers — the people that serve our communities, but can’t afford to live in them,” said LaBombard, who is the chairwoman of the Upper Valley Housing Coalition.”
